If you haven’t already, please checkout the latest issue of Gun Digest magazine to see my first column in a new series on long range shooting.
It’s their June 2017 Long Range Shooting special (Volume 34, Issue 9) and the article introduces gravity’s effect on your bullet on the way to the target.
The column, “It’s That Simple,” tries to break down all of the complicated variable that may affect your bullet’s path and explains how all of the many variables just change how much gravity and wind can move your bullet.
These columns that are going to continue to appear in future issues are short snippets – they aren’t full-feature articles. This means that I’m going to be a bit limited on how deep I can get into a topic but I hope that they teach you something or give you a new way to look at things.
